Angie's Place
Near Biggar in the Borders of Scotland about thirty miles SSW of Edinburgh lives Angie, a lovely friend with a beautiful quiet place for us to paint with tea and scones or liquid beverages later in the day!

Papacita's Water Lilies
The pond in the back garden is home to fish, frogs, and dragonflies, and numerous other creatures, a peaceful spot for contemplation and cocktails. This was Ray's special place!

Yorkshire Dales
In Northern England on the way to Scotland is a lovely area, one of my favorites for inspiration.

Seil Island, Scotland
On the west coast of Scotland, just a little south of Oban, is Seil Island which has a stone bridge connecting across the Atlantic to the mainland! When the weather is nice, it is beautiful; when not, it is awesome! I've seen a photo of this same spot in a storm with spray about fifty or sixty feet high.

Near Grove Ferry, Kent
Not far from fabled Canterbury is a quiet country road, if you ignore the scores of friendly bicyclists out for a ride, especially on the weekends and locals that bring tea or coffee and scones for artists; an altogether lovely place to paint!

Botany Bay, 39 Steps
Just a short walk from our friend, Jim's in Broadstairs, Kent, is Botany Bay down the '39 Steps' (which are now 41), the setting for Hitchcock's fifth movie. The chalk cliffs with flint nodules like Henry Moore sculptures are the same formation as the cliffs at Dover on the south coast.
